The General Tso chicken is amazing, also the Lo Mein is really good. I’ve got the Sichuan chicken once and it wasn’t my thing. I’ve only got my food to go. Happy’s is one of my favorite Chinese places in town.
I neither hate myself, nor do I not recognize good Asian food.. I have eaten at Happy several times, and each time I have enjoyed the food I have ordered. Instead of hurling insults at previous posts, I do know that Happy was chosen as one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the States. The food is good. I have dined in Chinese restaurants all over the West, Chicago, the Cayman Islands, the South. Happy competes.
I've been here a couple times, and each time I'm thrilled that I can take any dish and substitute tofu for meat. You cN even order General Tso's Tofu here by substituting out the chicken! The staff are friendly, too, and quick to give good service. I'm intrigued by the building, as well. Even though it has Chinese decorations, a look at the ceiling or floor has an old west feel. The building itself feels somewhat old, too, and has a lot of character. I found it enjoyable to sit in and eat, but a takeout meal would also be great.
This Chinese restaurant is really good. The food was delicious and the amount you get for the price is great. Well kept place seems very peaceful and calm in here. I recommend you try this place if you are here in town it is worth it.
It has been too long since we have visited here, but the food was phenomenal. From the pork and seeds appetizer, and chicken and vegetable soup, to the main courses, this was a.top notch dinner for the whole family. Our kids, ages 5, 8, and 15, all enjoyed every bit of their food. My wife and I each ordered a combination dinner, and shared some from both plates, the food was just incredible. The staff were very attentive, making sure we had plenty of drinks, and to make sure our food was to our liking. We will definitely be visiting again, this time much sooner than our previous visit.
My wife and I really like this place! They also have large portions so I've always at least had some leftovers so that makes the prices pretty good. My wife is pretty picky so it's a pretty big deal that's she's partial to this place. The staff are very friendly too and the place is quiet and chill.
Food was Delicious. My 4 yo leaned to me and said, "this chicken is my favorite!" About the sweet-n-sour chicken. It was my favorite too. Salad or soup comes with the entree. They were out of soup but we came an hour before close. We ...
Hello, I grew up in the Idaho Falls area, but I no longer live here. Every time I come to visit home, no matter how short of a stay, I always stop to eat here. The hot and sour soup is the best that I have ever had in all of my travels. I order hot and sour soup at every new Chinese restaurant I dine at in hopes that it will be nearly as good, and it never measures up to Happy’s hot and sour soup. I am a trained chef, and I can not stress this enough, if you have never tried their hot and sour soup please give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
